March 1988: Brandi's eyelid begin twitching - doctors say she needs eyeglasses (misdiagnosis)
April 1988: Brandi's eyelids and tongue now twitching - drooling excessively. Doctors say she has sinus infection,
or has esophogus problem (misdiagnosis)
May 1988: Doctors diagnose Brandi with epilepsy. Antiepileptic drugs begun
June 1988: Seizures continue. Brandi diagnosed with inoperable brain tumor (misdiagnosis)
August 1988 - October 1988: Brandi's MRI's sent around the USA for numerous opinions
November 1988: Brain biopsy at UCLA - Brandi diagnosed with Rasmussen's Encephalitis
June 1989: Brandi undergoes right-sided hemispherectomy UCLA
July 1989: Brandi returns to Colorado
September 1989: Brandi begins Kindergarten - Chipeta Elementary School (regular classroom)
June 1995: Brandi graduates elementary school
February 1997 - January 1998: Brandi's artwork displayed in Hellen Keller Art Show
February 1997: Brandi featured in Time Magazine. Article entitled "Fertile Minds"
October 1997: Brandi tapes first ABC 20/20 show with Deborah Roberts
April 1998: Brandi filmed with Toyko Broadcasting System
June 1998: Brandi's artwork displayed in Washington D.C. - Capital building
June 1999: Brandi graduates Holmes Middle School
June 1999: Brandi keynote speaker - 8th International Conference on Thinking, Edmonton, Canada
September 1999: Brandi moves to Plymouth, Michigan
November 2000: Brandi earned Nation Honor Society membership
May 2002: Brandi graduates Canton High School with honors
